St. John Baptist de La Salle Legacy Society

Estate Planning at San Miguel

Planned gifts, or legacy gifts, are charitable donations arranged during a donor's lifetime but distributed at a future date, typically after their death. These gifts are part of comprehensive estate planning and can include various assets and financial instruments. Individuals who include San Miguel in their estate plans automatically become members of the St. John Baptist de La Salle Legacy Society.

Planned gifts offer a meaningful way for donors to reflect their values and commitments, ensuring their impact continues beyond their lifetime. These gifts can take various forms, such as a bequest—a donation made through a will or living trust—which can specify a fixed amount, a percentage of the estate, or a particular asset.

San Miguel expresses its gratitude to those who have included the school  in their estate plans with special recognition at events and a listing in the School’s annual report, unless anonymity is requested. In addition, those who include San Miguel In their estate plans  are invited to the Annual Leadership Donors’ Reception and have an opportunity for direct communication with school leadership.
